The modular design allows the power module to detach, splitting the total lift weight in half. Each module is a maximum of 25 lb. This enables easy lifting into car trunks – no need for ramps or lifts in most cases.
We are currently pursuing CMS coding under both K0820 (patient-controlled) and E2331 (attendant-controlled). Coverage depends on individual provider participation and model type. Updates will be shared as approvals are secured.
A single 6Ah battery provides ample range for daily use. A second battery can be added at the time of purchase for extended range and added convenience.
Charging typically takes 4–5 hours using the included compact charger, and batteries are airline- and cruise-compliant for travel.
CareGlider is designed for low-maintenance use. Subdistributors and providers in our network offer servicing, and most issues can be addressed without returning the full unit, thanks to the detachable motor module.
